# Add measurements to lines

1. Create a line annotation.
2. Create a new note.
3. Hover the new note around the line annotation until the connecting line appears.\

4. Click the annotation to drop the note into place.
5. Click the note to edit the text with your measurement (meters or inches).
6. When you save the note, the measurement will automatically move to the center of the line annotation.\
