# Convert an existing report into a template

1\. On the left side of your work space, select the report you want to make into a template.\

2\. Click on the report title on the right side of the screen (next to the pencil icon).\

You can also convert a report to a template by right-clicking the report title on the left side of the screen and selecting **Copy as template**.\

3\. Check the box next to *Is Template*?\

4\. Click **Update**.\

The template will be available to all users who have the *Create* permission, regardless of which folder they were invited.
