# Paper types

You can set the default paper type from the space, folder and report properties.

1. Follow the basic [report generation steps](https://docs.reportandrun.com/manual/readme/report-generation/generate-a-pdf), but click **More Settings** before creating the report.\

2. Choose a paper type from the *Paper type* drop-down menu. \

3. Click **Create**.\

4. The report format will adjust to be printed on the paper type you selected.
